Yes! The EU is willing to help you to sell online in 27 European countries! This is probably your best opportunity to get your tailored european website and start doing serious business with one of the biggest e-commerce market in the World.

Who else wants to be a successful Europreneur?

If you wonder why you still haven’t done business in the European Union then read what Brussels Consumer Comissioner, Meglena Kuneva says about the e-commerce situation in Europe.

Interesting facts about e-commerce in European Union.

While e-commerce market takes off at domestic level in most European countries, it is still relatively uncommon for consumers to use the internet to purchase goods or services in another EU country.
As a result, the gap between national and cross-border e-commerce is increasing: from 2006 to 2008, the share of all EU consumers that have bought at least one item over the internet increased from 27% to 33% while cross border e-commerce remained stable (6% to 7%).

The pattern is similar for European users with internet access at home:

- 56% of consumers with the internet at home have made an purchase on the internet in any country including their own. There were in comparison 50% in 2006.
- 13% of European internet users access at home have made a cross-border e-commerce purchase, compared to 12% in 2006.

However, this picture tends to vary at European country level.
The percentage of consumers having bought goods or services from a seller located in another EU state varies from 38% in Luxembourg to 2% in Portugal.

Smaller EU state members such Luxembourg, Cyprus, Malta, Denmark, and Ireland are much more open to cross-border online shopping than the bigger ones.

Countries where online shopping is already well developed such as the UK, Northern Europe, the Benelux, for instance have correspondingly higher rates of cross-border online shopping.

To what extent do Europe SME’s sell to another country?

Among retailers, the cross-border potential of e-commerce also seems to be poorly exploited:

51% of EU27 retailers sell via the internet, but only 21% are currently conducting cross-border transactions. Actually the figures show a 7 points drop from 29% in 2006 to 21% in 2008.

Internet cross-border advertising also shows the same figures (21% in 2008).

One in five EU retailers (21%) sell cross-border, via distance sales methods, to at least one other EU country.

On the other side, 75% of EU retailers sell in their own domestic market.

European retailers who conduct in other EU state members tend usually to trade with very few countries. Only 4% of those retailers trade with 10 or more Member States. But the vast majority trade only with one or two other European countries.

This may also show the tendency of some large online retailers to establish in several European countries. Businesses most likely to be involved in cross-border retailing are medium and medium-large retail enterprises, with a limited number of outlets in other European countries and with existing language capabilities.

European SME retailers appear to be particularly reluctant to embrace the opportunities of e-commerce to trade with other european clientele.

What about you? How long will you wait until you get your french e-commerce website

Working at home is something that most people dream of doing and with the internet it can be possible. The four work at home steps below are very important rules for any work at home program and can make the difference between you living your dreams, or becoming frustrated and giving up.

1. Find a System That Works

This is the most difficult thing to accomplish. Who really knows if a program has and will make as much money as it claims? The best way to know is to research by searching on Google for any information on the program. Try to see if there are any negative reviews out there. Also use common sense. If it sounds ridiculous then it probably is. If you can’t find any negative reviews and the information sounds realistic then proceed to step 2.

2. Copy The System

If the program has ideas that work then follow the ideas. Most people get a work from home program, read the information, and only do a small part of what the program says to do. They end up doing the easy parts and don’t do the hard parts. They never give themselves a chance to succeed. If they program is legit, there will be online work and research involved. Most of you get caught up in a fancy sales letter, and when it comes down to applying the system you get upset because you might have to actually work. There is no magic overnight success kit out there that will make you a millionaire without work.

3. Don’t Quit

Going off a lot of what was said above. Stick with the work from home program. Don’t give a small effort and walk away. 90% of people buy a work at home program and never actually completely follow the program. 90% of people only do 20% of the easy parts of the program and quit never making a dime. 90% of people go right back on the internet looking for an easier program that will make them huge money. This is why there are tons of scams in the work at home field. Marketers know these statistics and know that they need to promise over night riches in order to sell crappie programs. If you spend money on a work at home program, you should expect it to be lengthy and take work. If there were a system out there that made millions overnight and only took five minutes, I really don’t anyone would sell this great secret for $49.99.

4. Not All Programs Work For All People

Now if you have followed the blueprint of the program to the tee, worked hard and do not see any results, then move on. It doesn’t necessarily mean the program was a scam; it just might not work for you. Generally most people fail because they don’t follow the program to a tee, but there are cases where you do everything asked and it just doesn’t work. This is now the time to get out and start another project. You have to understand that if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. Spending more time on it won’t change that. I know it can be frustrating when other people are making big money with a work at home program and you have done everything asked and can’t make a dime. This happens, and the next program might be you making the big bucks and other people not making a dime. Realize that time is precious and when all is followed and the numbers aren’t there then move on.

Pretty simple stuff yet most people never follow these rules. If you are like I was starting out, you probably have quite a few eBooks about working at home on your computer right now. When I started out I never kept to these rules and spent a fortune on every work at home program out there. I normally started the program and either got bored or didn’t want to put the effort and work the program required to make money. This kept me frustrated and poor for quite a long time. I began to think that working at home was a myth or a great internet scam that I was falling for. One day I finally decided to see one program through and even though it took a lot of work and time, I made money. I then realized that this was the reason for my failures and I went back to other programs I had purchased and began following the complete blueprint. Not all of them worked, but most did bring me quite a bit of money. Even with the success I was upset with myself for not doing this in the beginning.

There are many sites out there that specialize in finding legit work from home programs. These sites try to protect you from being scammed and help your goals become reality. There are links in this article to such a website. This website searches the web to find you the best work from home programs and sites. They also have a blog with great free advice, a free zone with free downloads to help you out, fresh articles for even more information, and loads of other stuff!

Picture of the West face of Gibraltar from a d...
Image via Wikipedia

Gibraltar, known locally as the Rock is considered one of the last vestiges of the British Empire, although a recent 2006 agreement between Spain and Britain unofficially ended that status, introducing a far more agreeable accord between the two countries.

Strategically perched on the edge of the Iberian Peninsula overlooking the narrow entrance to the Mediterranean Sea opposite North Africa, this natural fortress of rock was originally part of Spain but was ceded to the British in perpetuity during the early 18th Century. In fact, it recently celebrated its 300 year anniversary under British ‘rule’.

Over the centuries this piece of land measuring a minuscule 2.53 miles square has been subject to many a physical and verbal conflict. It has suffered no less than 14 sieges between 1309 and 1783, as well as numerous other conflicts in its long well-regaled history. But, it is the Rock standing 1,396 feet high that firmly dominates the skyline of this British Overseas Territory.

And it is upon the Rock that arguably one of Gibraltar’s biggest tourist attractions is to be found; the monkeys or more accurately the Barbary Apes, which cheekily molest tourists and occasionally brazenly rob them of anything that not secured! Depending upon whom you ask, the Rock’s Barbary Apes cunningly tunnelled their way into Europe under the Mediterranean via a 15 mile tunnel or rather more likely, were brought to Gibraltar by sailors who had visited nearby ports in Africa.

Thankfully, tourists don’t have to climb to the top of the Rock to meet the Apes and enjoy spectacular views of both Europe and Africa, as cable cars do all the hard work. From the top, tourists can also regale themselves with views of the six fabulous beaches that make up Gibraltar’s seven and a half mile long coastline, as well as watching the commercial flights to Gibraltar airport make their final descent past the Rock.

But, despite the fantastic views and the historic Moorish Castle dating back to the 11th Century, to be found atop the Rock it is undoubtedly the apes that tempt many of the tourists to take the cable car ride.

Similar to the legend that suggests England will fall should the Ravens ever depart the Tower of London it is said that British Rule on Gibraltar will end with the demise of the Apes. Indeed, so seriously is this legend taken that Winston Churchill allegedly ensured that extra apes were brought from Africa to replenish their number when it fell as low as seven during World War II.

But, regardless of how the Apes got onto the Rock and for however long they will occupy it, as long as they do then tourists will inevitably flock to see them!

The Rock of Gibraltar is a place rich in history especially in the traces of human existence dating as far back as the age of the Neanderthal man. There has been a longstanding battle between Spain and the UK for sovereignty of the place, and a unanimous vote by the people of Gibraltar to remain under British rule rendered it still to be a British territory up to this day.

Though it is popularly believed that to learn how to speak spanish implies a lot of time and requires too much effort, it is also claimed that people can learn Spanish easily by utilizing a variety of resources.
The evidence also shows that if you have the chance to study abroad, that is to say in a Spanish speaking country and getting immersed in the Spanish culture, you will probably learn how to speak Spanish the fastest as well as most natural way.
If you are not that lucky to travel to a Spanish speaking country, you might as well try watching Spanish TV shows, movies, listening to music in the target language, attending a Spanish course, etc. This means, somehow you should create your own Spanish environment. This will certainly help in your first learning phase.

Otherwise, it is always recommendable to take up some kind of Spanish intensive course with a tutor. Whether at an institute, online, or with a tutorial teacher at home, it is necessary that you have someone out there to guide you, facilitate, and accelerate this process.

What is also relevant is that you choose a Spanish learning course that is very convenient for you, so that you do not waste time, effort or money. For instance, try and find a course that is not restricted by class schedules or chained to your computer. If you study online first, in addition to being sitting next to your computer for hours, why don’t you try and practice in your car, on a walk, or at the gym as well —anywhere you can take your CD player or mp3 player. This extra practice will help you take in lots of new things faster than if you are just limited to some routine study hours. It is advisable then, to grasp any single chance to reinforce your Spanish skills. If you are constant and determined to do so, pretty soon you will have mastered the language and feel very proud about it!

You might as well make use of textbooks, which are designed to help you gain a fuller understanding of the language. Books are always a trustworthy tool with a great deal of useful material to help you develop and build up your Spanish skills

To conclude then, if you are eager to learn how to speak Spanish fast, and accelerate your listening, reading, as well as writing skills, you shouldn’t hesitate about getting immersed in a Spanish speaking environment so that you can develop all these skills in the nick of time. It will certainly be worth every penny. So then, learning Spanish Language will be a fast process. Speak Spanish now and open up these doors of opportunities and fun!
